Would it be realistic to say that with all of Inter's fine work that we use these valuations to see what the average is that we might pay for missing cars in our collections or do people use them to see how much they can hock their cars for on ebay? I know it's handy to see what your personal collection is worth, but in all honesty, does anyone plan on selling their Lowndes collection? I don't. :)

I don't. :)

NEVEEERRRRRR!!!!! :-)

I remember bumping into larry in the pits in 06 wasn't very pleasant, such a shame becausehe's a favourite of mine :( but still he was probably busy so its ok i guess...?

Drivers are just like us & at this level of motor racing under a fair bit of pressure. I know that Im not a happy person 24/7 (I know, hard to beleive) & we are at their place of work. Bound to strike them at a bad moment now & then.

totally agree that's why i never push to get signatures.. if they can do it fine if not there is always next year... but this year i'll be going on friday and try that because i've missed the last few times... you just jag them when you can and as long as your not rude about it they are all ok

bit late on the scene, I have all the 1:18 scale releases to date since Craig found the light, never will a holden see the inside of my cabinet, except maybe a mock of his big stack, I like that one :) nice list to, I was wanting confirmation my collection was complete.

New to model car collecting and managed to get the 2001 Lowndes/Crompton GEM for a pretty good price. Why do the front windscreens have de-mister lines though? I haven't noticed it on the real car.

the actual race cars do (or at least did) dun front demisters - mainly for when they are running in the wet - they are just not as obvious as on the GEM 1:18;)

No AC to demist front window so it will fog up in a wet race.

Really?! ;) Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the replies regarding Q. I guess it's just too obvious on the model cars then. But, you usually see them in the dry, so it would be better to have a 'clear' screen then for the model. I just haven't noticed it or thought about it on the actual cars before in a wet race. :o Meant to also say thanks to inter for his lowndes cars value guide.
