Hi Folks

If anyone in the South East Queensland area is looking for something to do this Sunday 24th December, Dimitri from Motorfocus at Oxley is opening his shop for a few hours. A few of us collectors are going to meet there around lunch time for a chat. I am going to bring along the GT to put on display, so come along if you are available.

Dimitri is also going to provide some light refreshments as a thank you to his customers that have supported him over the last 12 months.

Would to ( Would have even put the Clubby on Display for the Holden fans ) but we will be in Melbourne. Maybe we can arrange it for night early in 07.

Just been talking to Dimitri and he said that ther should be a few 1:1 cars coming and will be on display, so if you can come in for a chat and something to eat and drink will be a great day :) :santa:

There surely are a few collectors and maybe even some owners of classic muscle as well.
R. E.- A.B surely has a few.
We have had a few here (Kings Park and Maylands) and this tread has reminded me to ask the Q.

Hi Dimitri here,

Thank you to all that dropped in today. Its you that make us shops who we are! Thanks to the guys that brought down there classic road cars and Harley which were very impressive to see. We will have to do it again!

To others encourage your local model shop to do the same as it is great for avid collectors to meet and talk about model collecting.

Hi There

We had a great day at Motorfocus today. I met Buffalo Bill (finally) and he brought the mighty Mustang for a blat. What a crisp sounding Windsor! I turned up in my XY GT as well and parked it out the front of the shop. It was great to get together with a group of keen collectors and have a chat about our great hobby.

Thanks Dimitri for putting on the food and drinks ... was good to meet you and the guys and see y're impressive shop. Loved y're GT FPR Fan and look forward to catching up again and having a yarn ! ... maybe we'll see that GT stretching it's legs on a race track next year ?? Hope everyone had a great Xmas !

Glad you liked your visit! Yes great idea for FPR FAN to get that silver bullet on the track!! Bye the way your mustang has the sweetest V8 note you could ask for. Next time I want to hear it at full noise with a little bit of opposite lock too.LOL

Unfortunately no one had a camera to post some pics of the gathering.
