I think Classics made a few in 1/43 scale,Only 1/18 I have seen in James Brock's ute also by CC.
www.frontlinehobbies.com.au (http://www.frontlinehobbies.com.au) have the Brock 1/18 on special for $99.95.
Cheers,
Tony.

Thanks for the heads up, Tony. This particular Classic Carlectables model didn't make it to North America, and I was looking to get one for a good price for a quite a while. Hopefully, Frontlinehobbies doesn't charge an arm and a leg for international shipping.

Too bad, Luff's Cooper Ale Ford Ute (or any Ford brute ute for that matter) wasn't released in 1:18

Regards,

Sergey

Yes,it is strange that these never really took off as the Brutes racing is some of the best around, real door handle to door handle stuff.:)

The problem with the brutes IMHO was that they did run it like a serious race meeting in the beginning & as such they weren't taken seriously. To decide the grid via a raffle really cheapen the whole series.

Yes there was some great racing, but it became lost when procar withdrew from their series, so hopefully in 2007 with most of their races at the main game rounds the series can really kick on as some of the racing they've shown on speedweek has really been good.

I enjoy watching the Brutes, love the bump and grind. Wish they had more TV time though
