I have a diamond white XW GT, and would absolutely love to convert a model grecian gold 1:18 xw to look the same. Can anybody help me with either:
ADMIN - Is one coming in the next few years ?

OR

Can somebody do a GOOD code 3 job on my Grecian gold model for me. I would be happy to pay for a good job. I need Gold stripes and 12 slotters with diamond white paint. If you are interested, please email me... fuel@bigpond.net.au

Regards,
Chris:)

Just hang in there for a while. We will do a Diamond White XW at some stage. We are modifying the doors and wiring etc at the moment and once finished, we will make a couple of extra colours.

Chris, I dont think Biante is finished making the XW range ,so I wouldn't advise ruining your Gold XW. I think only Starlight Blue , Candy apple & Grecian gold have been done for road cars so hang in there.

Hey ADMIN, out of curiousity, what modifications would you have to do to doors and wiring?, presuming you would use existing XW GTHO moulds or whatever.

I've got 2 Moffat code 3 1/43's.
One his 1971 Bathurst winner and Two his 1972 Bathurst car.
Love to see Biante do Moffs 1970 XW winner in 1/43.

HEY ADMIN... I'll buy you a carton of beer, and allow you to let me drive your Cobra... if you stick a Windsor in the diamond white model XW...

Perhaps thats asking too much, just stick the Windsor in...

XWGT's came out in 1969 in six standard colours, Diamond White,
Grecian Gold, Candy Apple Red, Reef Green, Starlight Blue & Silver
Fox. In the late 70's they came out in some XY colours.

They also came out in Polar White, Zircon Green, Surfer Orange,
Brambles Red, Vintage Burgundy, Black.

"Spec" on the paint code was what ever you like.

So take a pick......

Would we be right to assum that the XW will eventually be released in 1:18 in all of the colours that were made in the 1:43 scale ???

Chris

Diamond White with 12 slots sounds good and i also think the Silver Fox with 5 slots will be another good choice.

Admin with the wiring are you going to finally put spark leads etc on the XW.Because in your list biante classics released so far you got the XW grecian gold the first model with spark plug leads and it didnt come out with it as any of the XW's.

Admin,
When will a Moffat 1970 #64 Vermillion orange phase 2 Bathurst winner come out in 1/43?
A 2 set possibly with Mcphee's 2nd place #65 phase 2 from the same race?

I'm being very selfish when I say this, but I hope none of the Moffat & Johnson collection are made in 1:43.
Reason, I've (and many others) have spent a rather large of money on buying the 1:18 versions with the expectation of them being exclusive to that scale. If all of the Johnson collection was to be realeased in 1:43 down the track I would be rather, shall we say, annoyed.
After being burnt by the Brock Tasie Targa Monaro (I bought the 1:18 & later found out about the 1:43 scale going into production) I would hate to have this happen to my much beloved Johnson cars.
cheers.
