All,

Just wondering if anyone out there in diecast world laminate their COAs or the Brochures that come with some cars?
If they don't I was wondering if it would be a good idea to laminate the certificates and brochures (the one page ones anyway) to protect them.

I keep all my Brochures and CoA in a four-ring folder with indicies to seperate them from different models. A folder for Ford items and folder for Holden items and another for Bathurst Winners etc....

Goldie,
I think laminating to protect the certifiactes & flyers is a good idea. I'm lucky enough to do it here at work.
I keep the certificates & flyers in a separate folder. Not displayed with the models.
Regards.
Damian

I try and keep my certificates with the car(s) in my cabinets.

I don't have enough room though....................

Hi guys, this is something ive thought of doing, but never got around to it:

Buy a "Photo Album" and store the certificates in that, along with another for the brochures. The brochure "book" would make a nice coffee table book... what do you think??

Picture framed and hanging on the wall.

All,

Good to see so many different ideas.

Perry - thats a good idea with a photo album and storing the certificates in that and the brochure book. Maybe BIANTE are going to release a folder that stores certificates on one side and then the corresponding brochure on the other side or under the certificate all bound in a nice BIANTE folder .... like the TAZO folders.

7litre/terrine - if you have them framed and hanging on the wall - what do you about the double sided brochures? or do you buy an extra one off the net? (could u post a pic of one in the frame? would be interested to see how they look).

Admin - and now you are going to surprise us... wooohoooo... seems like I have almost revealed something early ;)

I get mine laminated and then display them with the cars. Less chance of them getting damaged and easier to clean if need be.

I used to display my certificates with the cars and read on here a long time ago that it was not a good idea to display both together in case they get stolen.

I didn't think much of it at the time. It will never happen to me... you know that one right? Well it came real close. If they had more time (and more knowledge maybe) they might have taken the models. I can tell you they may be a bit harder to shift than a Playstation 2 but they are worth a lot more.

So now I scan them, send a copy of each one to my insurance agent and stash the original.

It's coming. I am finalising the last few things ready for the hard working (and much appreciated) collector to finish the 'package' and it will be ready soon. I PROMISE!.

'IT' is a secret. For now anyway.

It's not far away and I am sure you will like it.

On top of running his own business and doing everything else in his life the collector involved has done much more than the bulk of the work which I am sure will be very appreciated by not only everyone at Biante but also in the Biante community.

I just need to find a couple of hours to finish my part. I'll get stuck into it as I can see that the natives are getting restless :p
