Dick Johnson 1984 ATCC - sponsors

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows why the new Dick Johnson Falcon has so few sponsors on it. Is that the way he raced it or is it something to do with advertsing regulations?

Hi Travis,

The car is correct for the majority of the ATCC rounds. Most of them he did run the front wheel covers, however the round the car is depicting, he did not. Johnson had a couple more sponsors on the car when he ran at Wanneroo.

At Bathurst, most people were able to source more sponsors as it had major TV coverage. After the race, those sponsors all disappeared back into the woodwork.

Hi, thanks for the response. I couldn't find much history on the car and back in those days I was knee high to a grass hopper.
