I've not yet got/bought this program, but I'm told that it can convert the files from my PVR to MPEG format so I can burn it to DVD & I was wondering if anyone here has used it & if so, what their opinion of it is?
Apparently there are two versions of this program, Video ReDo Plus & Video ReDo TV, so also which you may think is the better (& why) would also be helpful.
cheers,
Brad. :)

I use Plus to edit my Bathurst and other Mini DV camera footage once I download it from the camera onto my hard drive and then onto our Myspace site and Youtube, etc and it can even access and save the files I had on my dead HDD hard drive recorder drive which other programs weren't able to open, not a bad program at all

I assume Spoonster was referring to Video ReDo Plus which can be found at:

I've since downloaded both their plus & tv versions (trail) & after hading a play with both of them I'm a little split between the two as to which is the better program.
While both were able to recognise & convert my PVR's files into mpeg, I liked the simplicity of plus better than tv, however it appeared that tv allowed for the better removal of ad's (even though it took a little longer to do) & it had the ability to add titles into a dvd (except it wouldn't let me burn being the demo) so perhaps TV might be the better of the two ?
Think I'm confused now :D lol

How do you get the files from your PVR to your PC?

I would assume either via LAN or USB depending on the PVR!!
The thing that appealed to me about VideoReDo was the re-sync function!!:)

I'll have to check if mine has LAN when I get home because I'm quite sure it doesn't have USB
