There was a similar thread to this but, was more related to long term missing members!!

Anyone heard from ol' mate Wayno, he hasn't posted for nearly a month which is very unusual!!

Hope everything is OK!!:confused:

We communicated a few days ago, so he is still breathing:). Very busy, but not very fair to put his family & career ahead of us:D

Sorry guys but I've been horendously busy lately. I've been out driving now for nearly two months under instruction and with studying and coping with shift changes, etc things have been pretty busy.
Some things had to go by the wayside over recent times and forum activity was one of them. But I'm back now. Not as much as before, but it wont be long before everyoe is sick of me again. :D

Yeah mate. All good. I'm about three months ahead of where I should be on the theory and about five months ahead on the driving from what I've been assesed on so far.
All the hard work is starting to pay off as I'm cruising now. Next practical test on the 31st, but i'm pretty sure I'll be ok.

Do they still run those bull nose GM diesels in the country down there, they are the best looking things. There used to be one crashed through a pub wall next to the tracks in Melbourne off Chappell st years ago. Model railway around the top of the bar, got very intoxicated at a bucks night there once..... longtime ago.

That was the Railway Hotel near Prahran station but unfortunately the train is gone now. It was a prety striking facade to the building to put it mildly!
And yes, the A class diesels are still running around on passenger and freight whilst the S class diesels are only used for freight and heritage trains now.

UNFTD aka Daniel has been MIA for quite a while. He was meant to come to QLD to buy my Westpoint cars in 1/18 but never did.

I rang his mobile to ask him the go and he brother picked up. Asked Daniel call me but he never did.

So I left sleeping dogs lie.

At 18 model "cars" was no were near my mind as yes othe importaint stuff at the age comes 1st lol
