Ive been a member of the Biantes collectors club now for 2 years and of all the model catalogues they send out to the members Ive always recieve a ***** AutoArt, i wont say catalogue as its more a pamflet. My winge is how come the members dont get the AutoArt Australian Musclecar Catalogue that is sold on their website,I think that stinks.I only buy AutoArt as they are the only ones who produce aussie cars so the other catalogues are quite frankly... useless to me.

Well there's two ways to look at this, the first way is relating to Trax models who make a fairly poor model but bring out a great quarterly brochure/book for free, then there's Biante which bring out great models but a lousy and costly piece of paper when it comes to the Australian Content, I guess at the end of the day I'd rather have the great model and give any future pieces of paper a miss than get a poor model and a great catalogoue. As far as the AutoArt catalogoue goes its well done and truly a book but all that interested me was on a flyer similiar to what I find in my letter box, so don't feel so bad cause I'm sure your not alone when it comes to Australian collectors and content, when it comes to catalogoue's that is.

The problem is totally because we are in world terms, a very small manufacturer.
Autoart will be including the Australian road cars they make in the new catalogues from June onwards as we will be going worldwide then. But not with racing versions.
The other Biante branded models will also not be in there obviously, so it still doesn't solve the problem.
As all of our models come out in Limited Edition, by the time the catalogue comes out, the cars have been and gone. AND, there is nothing worse than getting a catalogue full of sold out items.
That's why we produce the leaflet to accompany the model.

The models have never been so good and the choice never been better, The information also has inproved out of sight and is on this site exelent.
So here we have the modern so called colector who has everything at his/her fingertips and still it is no good!
I am used to the old system NO info ,if you were lucky to see it then you got it qiucksmart! the old way of collecting models, I am still every so often finding out regarding models that were made 10/20 years ago and were available to me if only I had known.
I am personaly apalled to see posts like these and others where
people have the audacity to step WAY out of line on the host's own site! Bit on the rough site in my book and certanly a banneble ofence ,again ,in my book:mad:
Stephen,
The AUTOart Australian catalogue was sent out to all off-line members with the December, 2001 mail-out.

This admin guy always has the answers, I thought I was being most reasonable in my responce to sbolands post and regarding the situation with catalogoue's that contain Australian content. I'm also pleased to see that I'm still able to post this message and not banned as others may want, glad to see that Biante have no objection to free speech.

I would like to see a yearly booklet with pictures and specs which covers all Autoart/Biante modles ever produced. .
This would bea very valuable tool for the "Assute Biante collector"

What about a compilation of all the Biante flyers/brochures? I reckon that'd be great too.

Excellent idea, I think that a run down on all flyers produced should be included also.
