I for 1 would like to express my thanks & appreciation:) to people who work behind the Scenes & get very little appreciation or thank for doing what can often be a very thankless task:(.
Inter for his tireless efforts in keeping track of & monitoring the prices of our 1:18th Collection;
The Moderators, without whom the Forum could become much like any other;
The Competition holders who do it for FUN & try to GIVE to the Forum without taking.
As well as others out there who've helped me (who are far too many to name).
A huge thank you from me:)

Agreed Singer. And its well overdue from all of us.
Thank you to Wayno, Brad, Inter, Barnart and Designer in particular, but also Julian and Richard on staff. Despite everything going on in your lives, you all still manage to give tirelessly to this forum, so thank you.

Hear, hear. Should that be tyrelessly ? :D:D
Cheers David
Well said all. The help and kindness of people is what make this place great. Damage has gone out of his way to help me several times and only today Jullian (staff) helped me track down a part I needed.

I would like to thank everyone for the many enjoyable hours I have spent on here over the years.
The amount of infomation I have learnt from people who share the same passions and other topics too, has been invaluable and helped make me look quite informed and knowledgeable to my friends and family :)

Thanks everyone. Especially to Pete, Scott, Inter, Brad and Wayno + the Biante Staff.:) And also thank you to every other member. I've learnt so much on this forum. Just as an example, I didn't know what a COA was before I joined up, but now, I know way more about model cars and even just cars in general.
Cheers,
Thomas

Same same well done to all those who contribute so much to this place. I read every day and try to post where possible but the information I gather is invaluable. Many times I just enjoy the opportunity to have a read and sometimes a giggle.
Lets get this forum get back ontrack as it is a great place to be a part of.

While we are all publically thanking people,
Id like to acknowledge "minh427", for helping me out with something a few weeks back.
He offered his assistance of his own accord, and I thank him for it!

I would like to thank all the Biante staff, like everyone else, especially Wayno:). This forum imo is the best of its sort and i have learnt a lot here. I never realised this model car world even existed and without this hobby and forum, i think i would be finding it very hard to get through school.:D Some other guys who make this forum a great chat room to be part of and who have helped me out:

It just been over my first year here and its been amazing, whether you are helping others or others are helping you, its leaves you with a great feeling. I want to say thank you to all that have helped me to understand about models, motorsport etc. And not only people who have help, but even just chatting on the forum with a great bunch of people is interesting enough.

I can't believe that only a small number of forum members chose to post on this thread.:(
I have been collecting for ages & this forum & the knowledge & offers to help from the members is incredible.
I've learnt so much & I'd have trouble remembering all those people that I need to thank:o

I have been a member of this forum for a loooong time. It certainly has grown from being a small "country" forum into a rather large "city" forum...
Things have changed over the last few years but it is still a great place to visit and read what's been going on. There are so many new threads being started it is hard to read everything so I only read ones that have an interesting Title or are of interest to me.
It's great seeing new members join and contribute in a friendly manner. I like to think that I have helped members on here and I have also been helped out by alot of members that are still on here and some that no longer visit. I have even met a few of the regulars.
It is certainly a great place to visit to find out information about this hobby while trying to enjoy it as much as possible. Thanks to everyone who help make this one of the better forums :)

As Confucious says "No matter how long you've been around, how much you've learnt & how much you know....one day you will be stumped by something you don't know the answer to & the Biante Forum is one of the best places to find it" unquote. :D

As the year draws to an end I thought I would dig up this thread and say thanks to a few people for the year gone past.
Thanks to Barnart, Scott, for donating so many of his garages to the various competitions through out 2008. Going on his ebay prices he has donated thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. So big thank you Scott, have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thanks to Designer, Pete, for:
A) giving us the insights to the design world of Holden Motor Sports and some sneek peaks to the designs of 2008 (crawl crawl for the previews of 2009).
B) Thanks for the donations of your art work to the various competitions as well, again all out of your pocket. It has made the competitions worth winning.
Thanks to Inter for all the stats and for the competitions he also ran earlier in the year. Your information is appreciated by many and the efforts you put into keeping the stats live is well noted. And to top it off you have taken some good photos to share this year as well.
Thanks to the Moderators who work behind the scenes to keep this place under control. Without their tireless work this place would be a free for all and most likely not visited by most. So thanks boys for your unpaid efforts in keeping this place an enjoyable experiance.
Thanks to Biante for also throwing in the odd competition this year and donating that cool prize of the 84VK No 50. Thanks also to the staff who have contributed to discussions and answerd questions from the forum members.
Lastly thanks to all the forum members for making this an enjoyable place to visit and discuss all things models and anything with wheels. Thanks to all those members who have shared photos of racing events this year as its always cool to look at some of the photography.
Merry Christmas all and a Happy New Year.
