Marty,
I don’t think Biante are bringing out Glen Seatons car Model (correct me if I’m wrong?) You can see a list of what there making under “Latest News. If you want that car you will have to buy a crappy one from Classic Collectables, but they are no were near as good as the Biante Models.

I think Lachlan is right Marty. On the latest news page there is a list of the V8 Supercars that they are donig and no sign of the Seton falcon. There is only the DJR, Ozemail, Betta and 00 Motorsport cars listed (as far as the Fords go).
I understand there is a licensing thing and as Lachlan said your only option is buying a poor quality one from the competitor (if you can call them competitor, not really ni the same class if you ask me).
If you ask me I wouldn't bother with it cos I have a DJR one by CC and it is so crappily finished.....okay it was half the price but looks crap on the shelf amongst the cool Biante models.
Sometimes we might not get the one we want, but when you look at the quality of something like the Green Eyed Monster model, it is worth sticking with the quality models.

Awww nothing wrong is CCs, just missing opening doors, realistic wheels, realistic body lines, an engine, steerable wheels, oh not much. :D
Seriously though Marty, don't even bother with the current CCs. They are in the weeds right now - just look at the current AUs by Biante. Although..... when the NEW CCs come out.... called "Precision v8 Replica", they may give Biante a run for their money......

I only have one 1:18 C.C. When compared to Biante it is a toy, thats the best way to describe it.
I used to collect 1:42 C.C's I was a member of thier site for a while. In thier forums there are a lot of derogatory comments abbout Biante. Dead set, what a crack up. You cant even type Biante in your post, it automatically comes up as *%#@!.
Gotta admit though, the smaller ones look alright as a colection and it is a good entry for younger people. The collectability is not bad either, I have one that cost me $30 and is now on Gateways site for $490!!!

if you look at the attched picture you can clearly see the CC logo above the front wheel, This pretty much answers the question of who is prodcing this car.

ok, I see the CC above the wheel FOMOCO.
does that mean Biante will NOT produce the 2002 Castrol cars?
(i dont recall them being on the "to be made" list)

I think you will find that the Castrol and Seton cars will be made by Classic Model Cars as they have an exclusive contract with them. Like Biante have with 00 Motorsport

yeah that makes sense. the new 2002 castrol livery looks great, i wished Biante could produce it.

Just a quick note.
Spoke to my model supplier today who said that they went to a recent toy fair where they saw a CC 1.18 2002 seton car. They said that the detail and finishing was comparable with Biante. Their exact words were, " We couldn't tell if it was a biante or a CC model."
Something to think about..

FOMOCO as I explained, again, yesterday, pictures have to be monitored for suitability.
They will all go on if OK as soon as we check them, but we do not sit in front of the computer 24hours a day just waiting for a picture. Please understand and be patient.

They are made by Motor Box to be exactly correct. Sort of like Gate and Autoart..all the same company, but.....
And please..Kyosho do NOT make Australian cars. Biante and Autoart are the owners and manufacturers of all our Australian cars.
I think our latest AU is pretty good. We dont mind some competition at last.
Watch out for our 1:64th range coming in May. FULL detail...incredible and under 10 bucks.

Does it still come with a free "plastic spaceman" like 2001 FTR car?

I tried, but looks just like a 1:43. Clear windows, seat, belts, dash, cables, proper wheels etc..the whole thing as it should be.
To show that it is NOT a 1:43 I have attached 2 pics of the first sample plastic buck.
