Hi all
Recently I had a hassle with the bonus points system after ordering a model and it has been said that some confusion has taken place with other members as well. I have joined the collectors club and before proceeding to the ordering area I did check that I was logged on, yet the bonus points were not calculated. At this point I'd like to thank Richard from Biante for rectifying the problem but I do feel that the instructions are not clear in regards to accumulating the bonus points. On my second attempt to gain the points I again checked that I was logged on to the collectors club at the home page icon then proceeded to the ordering section but this time I entered my user I.D and password at the ordering section on the right hand side as well as all the other required details and the bonus points were calculated. On my first attempt I did not enter My I.D etc at the ordering area. I feel that the confusion may be occuring because of the statement that says
"once you have entered your details at the collectors club and are logged in you don't have to do this again" But in reality at least for me anyway I had to be logged in at the collectors club and I had to repeat this proceedure at the ordering page to accumulate the points. I hope what I am saying is a fact and if not please set us straight Mr Admin.

I think the easiest way to tell is that if you are logged in is that your name and shipment details will automaticly appear if you are logged in, if you are not logged in no details will appear !!

This is how I check

If you go to FAQ's that will answer most of your Frequently Asked Questions.

To make it easy, click here.

On the subject of logging on for points, under normal circumstances you should not have to log in again. However, if you are using a company computer, most have now got automatic cookie resets and this will log you off.

To help those who do not know if they are logged in or not, we have now put a huge warning before you submit to go to step 3 of the order reminding you to check.

Also, as someone said, if you fill in the log in box anyway at step 2, you get your order form filled out automatically, so its quicker to log in than to type your address, name, etc each time.

I agree with all that has been said regarding this BUT I was loged in I checked before going further, my name was shown as the loged in member but no points, I am not on a work PC and only received points after 1 checking that I was loged in again by seeing my name and 2 by loging in a second time at the ordering section. I guess its no real problem I'll just check for log in at the home page and then log in again at the ordering section in future but I was trying to find out if this is whats required cause the FAQ states that if you are loged in all is cool but for me it was not.
