HI
This is my first post here but i have been watching the forums alot to see if any info on the maloo model was posted.

I was wondering which maloo is going to be made into a model, the VU II Maloo or the HRT HSV Maloo??

Also it would be sweet if it was the HRT HSV Maloo and it came with the optional extra HSV Responce R8 boat.

Here is a pic of the combo (http://www.hsv.com.au/lifestyle/uteboat.jpg)

welcome hsv dude, your picture brings back memories of the corgi/dinki batmobile with the batboat which even today is a desirable model to own

Even though i am an older blu oval fan the HSV combo in model form would diffinately be desirable for the display shelf. Whats admins comment.

Sorry guys. as much as Brad Dunstan at HSV would like us to make a model of this, we have no plans at present.

I rekon a VT or VX SS Commodore ute would look rather sweet in my collection.

I'd like the VXSS Ute as well. They never made a VT Ute, it took so bloody long for them to produce a ute, which I was really surprised by. They let Ford have the market on the ute for ages. But as Holden do, they produces one mean car in the SS ute. Hopefully when they are made they come with colour coded tray covers, not the daggy looking black ones.

I'm totally with you guy's,
Please oh please make the VU SS ute in Hyper Yellow, manual preferably with the colour coded hard cover and UTE 350 number plates, I am lucky enough to own one of these great handling, grunty, sporty looking ute's and I think they are an awesome machine. The VU HSV Maloo will be a great edition also and don't forget Brocky's 2001 SS Targa Ute.

P.S. A Tiger mica SS ute would look great also. :D :D

BRING EM ALL ON!!!!! All the concept holdens rock!!! The Utester is an absolute beast, and I agree, how good would the Sandman look in 1:18.

Oops, I forgot about the Utester and Sandman, they would look awesome in 1:18. Now I will have to watch the 1977 Bathurst finish for my punishment.:(

For some reason I have noted that Biante were looking at doing both the VU & VY Maloo in 1:18. I can't find anything to back this up though.

Let's hope they are made.

Lucky devil!
I have some models in a list that I want - want to buy them for me as a present ;)

Yeah right!!!! Being on a disability support pension means I dont have a lot of money for necessary day to day expenses (me being legally blind). I am finding it hard to save any money for my models!!!! I am also now saving for a house, but this one might take me a couple of years to save enough for a deposit.

Also not having a job of any sort also slows down the rate at which I can buy my models.

Actually, if anybody knows of any general part time/ casual jobs going round at model shops or anything, I'd be interested in hearing from you.
