My supplier has told me James Brock has signed exclusively with Classic Carlectables. Does this mean no Biante models for the Brock team? I have seen the Monaro on site.
Will this still be made?

I doubt that he has signed with Classic Model Cars. I think you will find your suppiler has his facts wrong. Team Brock is a BIANTE Model Car team.

I have also heard this, but I think you will find that a retraction will be made by Classics for what is, it appears, a blatant mistruth aimed to discredit Biante and gain a commercial advantage.
Apparently James Brock and Team Brock are not amused and will take further action if this is not retracted pronto.
What is Biantes comment on this Mr Admin?

The fact is that Classic Carllectables put out a memo to all their retailers stating that:
A) The brute ute that James drives is a Team Brock vehicle
and
B) That James had signed EXCLUSIVELY with Classic Carllectables.
Both statements are utterly false.
Why these people put out such rubbish I don't know.
However...my OFFICIAL response is "No comment" due to legal proceedings pending.
Meanwhile, I am off to Targa tonight with James and Peter as part of their support team for Team Monaro with Holden .
Watch for daily reports on either www.teambrock.com.au or www.biante.com.au

Here is what Classic Carlectables said about it in there newsletter
Brock Signs with Classic
Classis have the EXCLUSIVE licence for all the V8 Brutes in this fast growing category. The 1:43 scale models will appear mid 2002 and the 1:18 scale at the end of 2002. James Brock will drive a V8 Brute under the "Brock Team" banner and this will further enhance the category. This Holden V8 Brute will be modelled exclusively by Classis. James is sponsored by the " Brute Strength" company.

Telling fibs like that it makes you wonder if Classic Carlectables are being run by some of our politicians:D

Its just like kids in the playground, theres always a time when someones popularity reduces to a lower level but it dosen't do you any good telling fibs to get noticed by your peers. Do your homework and workout want the other kids like, pick up and join in again.

Peter brock has been part of the other mentioned mob ,as I have a 1;6 scale helmet ( open face) Arai) in a box with the name and all item number#5001 driver's helmet series.
I have also seen a G. Seton skidlid in the same seies.
on the back is a foto of Peter Brock and some of his many achievements........................
silly stuff is going on indeed
So far the socalled"" sensational range of 1/18 scale replica's""
and"" C. C. are renowned for thier attention to detail""
is just a big load of B.Sh!t , what detail?
"" All are limited editions and will not be re-produced"" ONE HOPES NOT! as they cannot give the piles of mukes away
all ""quotes are from their initial leaflet/bad toiletpaper

I am a member of both Classic and Biante.
I think this thread is a bit of a joke.
Everything i have heard from classic and that there club people have told me have come true. They say they will make the Brock Ute, I will put my money on it. Not trying to get picky here but wasn't there a post mid last year saying that Classic would not be able to make any VX race cars at all in the Future?
