Ipod or other

Hey poeple I thought I might ask you, my housemate is looking at getting a new mp3 player and does not know which one to get. She is running Windows Vista and needs to be able to run basic/everyday items without help. I was thinking an Ipod touch as it has everything but 2 functions that she requires (radio, free updates) and thu storage is a bit lame 32Gb is the largest.

What are your suggestions on this. Any pros and cons would be great.

I got an Ipod touch,excellent gadget;) but Apple seem slightly overpriced for what you get though.

Itouch is the go then. I'm on my Iphone as we type ;) Itunes is free to use and update, firmwear updates for Itouch is also free.

Yeah go the iTouch then. Bit expensive but does a heap of stuff that alot of others cant.
If it was just for Music there are heaps of cheaper options.

To update the Itouch from 2nd generation it costs $12 but the new ones should be updated at time of sale and she already has a cheap mp3 player that has basic features only. Looks like the Itouch is the way to go.
