run the V8 Supercars for 12 Months what would you change??

I would remove the restrictions on the shells having to be within a certain size so the VE and FG would be able to run their road car dimensions.Get rid of those stupid numbers on windows and get them back on the doors.Have a points system that is actually easy to understand! and doesn't change every year.
Too many more to list but can't be bothered Lol.

Should make for an interesting topic. But one thing you cannot do is change it back to production car racing...it has to stay as "V8 Supercars"

Should be Improved Production Cars. 19 inch tyres, Need wider rears with a grip like the sprint tyre. Smaller Spliter and wings. (not small but not big). No dinosour donks. Use the type of motor that is in the road car 750hp at least.
The little Aussie race cars put on a great show. They got more grip than downforce and they got some HP.

PS
I would have the Formula Fords, Brutes, Development series V8's, and the Biante muscle cars
at every round
And sack Tony Cockroach

Well, I,d change my undies. Get the drivers girlfriends to talk to another driver on the grid before a race, that seems to spice up the action.

Run every round at either Sandown, OP, Bathurst or Pokeacowie ;)

2 tyre people a refueler and car controller working on the car in pit stops only. V8 5L engines no modifications to engines or car length (standard road car), qaulifying one per weekendand 3 races like last year.

Have the cars the road car size, bring in the moto-gp points system, bring back the round winner system, run races at circuits to put back into motorsport in this country, have the GT cars as support for every round, have the option tyre every race, cut aero but still have them look tough and make them sound 'meatier'.
That's just a start. :o

Well, I'd firstly ditch the street races except Adelaide (aswell as Bathurst and AGP for those people who classify them as street races). They all seem very boring to me with no passes and the race basically won in the pits. Then I'd change the points system like others have said. I'd also go back to the old qualying format for the Sunday race eg. starting from the positions finished in the previous race. I'd also ditch that project Blueprint thing which makes the cars basically even in every single way.
But apart from that, nothing.:p

Reduce downforce and grip. Move the numbers from the windows to where they really belong. Ditch the 'short race 1, long race 2' format we have at the moment and make it 2 medium races or 2 long races. I'll somehow introduce an overseas round in either the UK or America (Donington Park, Oulton Park, Silverstone would be Uk options. US track will be Watkins Glen) to increase international exposure. This will aid in getting new manufacturers to sign up for years in the future, which will also be easier after I ditch project blueprint. I'll also increase the size of the field to 35.

Oh and I'll hire some more XXXX Gold girls :D

Where else do you get 2 quality races, on track entertainment that betters any other, 4 nights of bloody decent concerts and Farmers Union Ice Coffee?
Anyway, I never got to say that I would ditch the street races but find another alternative for them in the same area so theres no dissapointed fans.:)

For me, it would be the following items in no particular order:

Reduction in aerodynamic grip, make the wings on the cars for looks rather than work!
Bring back the H-pattern gearbox
2 races per round per track, apart from the enduro's
Every race counts for drivers and teams championships
1 set of Sprint tyres per round, to be used in either race at teams desecration
Separate qualifying for each & every race.
20 minute qualifying session on the morning of the race.
10 minute pre-race warm before each and every race.
Remove the Shootout for all rounds, except Bathurst
No compulsory pit windows.
No set number of pitstops per race.
AGP counts for championship points.
Only award points down to 20th place.
Leave the grids caped at 28 cars, however only cars in the top 20 in the championship receive automatic entry for each round - i.e. the last 8 places are filled on who is the fastest at that round, decided on times at the end of practice on the Friday.
Sack the XXXX angles!
Allow the punters to take their own drinks/food into all venues.
Allow the punters to take their own shelter to events where none is provided.
All races broadcasted live on digital TV.
Australian GT Championship, Biante MCM, Development series are the main support categories
Formula Ford, F3, Aussie Racers 2nd tear support categories at selected rounds.
Standard sized Numbers returned to the side of the racecars

Nearly a good complete list
I'd keep the XXXX angels ( too many ugly drivers) and have the traditional Bathurst round, With an additional 24 Hour Bathurst using one car and 4 drivers per team as the first round.

1: Old Lemans style start (run to cars and hop in)
2: Scull a beer after each lap (Revenge of the Nerds tricycle race)
3: Winner is the one who completes 24 laps first.
Oh and one other thing. They have to drive in reverse.

Get hotter XXXX Angels.
Piss off qualifying all together, grids drawn by hat.
Minimum 35 cars on track. Maximum 50.
Bye Bye Paperclip. Bring on Lakeside
Make cars less aero dependant.
Make cars same dimension as road cars.
Bring in the 1 free hit rule, someone hits u, u can hit them back ONCE.
No compulsory pitstops.
Double File Restarts
Safety Car only to come out when there is ACTUAL danger. Local yellows generally suffice.
Enduro to be held on the Calder Thunderdome. Turning Left.
Numbers on the door, not the back windows.
Victory Burnout mandatory
One fuel setting... FULL RICH.
Freedom of use of Sprint tyres.

Cant think of anything else just yet.

No computers. Old style gauges Oil pressure, Water temp etc..
Make drivers actually drive the car and drive around a problem without a computer to tell them when a tyre is about to go flat etc..

Open it up to more manfuactures. Run an engine with a specified HP, but use actual road cars...
and scrap queensland raceway (the paperclip) and use Lakeside.

Bigger rims and the current Dunlop Sport Maxx sprint tyre to become the 'normal tyre' and for a super soft to be the sprint tyre to be introduced
