Hi All
I Collect the Biante/Autoart V8 race cars, can anyone tell me if there is a magazine or web site that gives current market value of such cars as it would be handy when shopping on the net
Thanks

I recently had to value my collection for insurance. I got current prices from gateway model cars website. Thier prices seem competitive when comparing them to bulletin boards and auction sites. At the end of the day cars are worth what people will pay for them...

In all of my dealings with insurance people, they all need a seperate and professional valuation.
I don't know what they would pay for a self evaluation...???

As a mad collector myself, I am 4 cars short of the whole classic carlectable 1:43 collection and I know your situation.
Another good website is www. sold.com.au, search for each item and view closed auctions. It might amaze you as to what price other fellow collectors will pay for some models.
My opinion... better to over-value!

when valuing your collection and cars, the best way to value is the what it would cost to replace them, which with some models and obsolete ones would be hard if not near impossible,

Just my two cents worth
