Does anyone know when we can expect the 1:18 scale models of the FJ holden? I realize they are in the pipe line as approved. We as collectors need to know more info.

I would also want to know, as the FX models have allready been released, what about the FJs?

It is anticipated that two of the two-tone FJs will be released during 2008 ... does that sound confusing ? Sorry, but that's all I can advise for now.

Seeing as we are talking FJ/FX s, did anyone see the article in the latest magazine of the conversion of the road FX 1/18 into the bright pink speedway car. Unfortunately my daughter was shown it by my now exshop keeper (joking) and guess what she wants for christmas.

Graeme, when are we going to see more racing Humpies ie Johnson, Stahl, Muir etc?

We all know the Brock car will probably be made, but there are other drivers people would like in their collections as well. If it was solely Brockie stuff being made, it would get filled very quickly and then where would you be?

The model companies need to sell as many of a mould as possible to be viable and to do so means making other drivers. Even if a Johnson FJ will sell less numbers. The profit made from these will help with the development of the next car, possibly a Brock one.

By the way, have you noticed that the recent Torana is still available in shops? This may reduce the numbers of the Brockie cars that were not as successful as say the VK and VL as stores are not clearing the existing stuff and they won't want to have more stock that does not move off the shelves.
