Guys,

Some of you may recall that amongst a number of things I do, including modifying real cars is also to cut up and modify Diecast.

I posted some photos a while ago of my HK Monaros, a CC XT drag car, LX Torana pro streeted and blown etc.

I mentioned that I was building a Minichamps 1/18 Morris Minor into a real Blown 427 Pro Street car from the US. Well, not only did i finish it, but it came second in the Annual Model of the Year competition at the AMCC.

But the big news....it is now featured in a huge two page article in a modelling magazine called "Model Art Australia". You can check it out in any big Newsagency. It is the latest issue...December [it was just released] and it has Steve McQueen's Racing Porsche on the cover with a small pic of the Wild Morris at the bottom.

The article and pictures of the Wild Blown Morris are great - check it out and let me know what you think. I will try and post some pics when i get a chance.

Well done HOT351 - I remember the original 1:1 car you modelled - I must go and look for the magazine it was in and have another look - I think it was Street Machine in the late 80's from memory.

Thanks

p.s. Dont know what the power to weight ratio is, but the real car is an animal and the owner Sam, drives it HARD!!

Yep, posting the article would be great.
Also, is the real car on any website or forum to check it out?

Nick.
