I guess this is a question more for our overseas
collectors.
Does anyone make (has made) a diecast
Lotus Carlton of any scale.
Or even a plastic kit.
I have searched far and wide and cannot find one.
Can anyone help?
thanks
Rooboy

If you've got a spare 100k there is one for sale in Bayswater (Melbourne)
1 of 2 company imports in Oz.

Really, I have never seen one in Oz. In fact I don't think I have ever seen one at all.

Extremely fast....Extremely
There are 2 Company imports in Oz 1 in Melbourne
and the other in Sydney both ex Company Director cars.
I believe there are 2 other direct imports in Oz.
Both in Qld.
I can remember 1 for sale about 2 or 3 years ago in Brisbane.
The other I read about in some collection up north somewhere.
(maybe the same car?)
as for never seeing one google it and enjoy the reading.

I know all about them, have been reading English mags for years. I can quote their stats. But I have never seen one in the flesh I don't think.

Don't know if its related to Vauxhall but a while ago Motor or Wheels magazine compared it to the Monaro in the UK. Does it have any relations?

GMH brought 2 to Oz to evaluate, along with some othe Opels, (Vectra A's etc. that you didn't get) and our dealership here in NZ was supposed to get one, being an Opel only dealer before we got Holden. Unfortunately someone totalled it 2 days before shipping!!

They were seriously fast for a large family saloon 20 years ago.
3 litre twin turbo (I think) straight six capable of 178mph (285km/h) and 0-100km/h in around 5 secs.
