How hot is that Monaro, price is getting up the with Hemi Cuda's.

They import all kinds of Aussie muscle cars over to the states. There is a LE Monaro Coupe for sale $16,000 US dollars.


A friend of mine just came back from the US. It seems many people over there are falling in love with Aussie Muscle cars. I think it is great that Aussie cars no matter what make are getting the attention O/S.

Remember Alan Lucas's purple( sour grape) prostock HQ Monaro with a huge amount of horse power(1200hp) and with the front tear drop exhaust pipes. I think it won street machine a few years ago, but didnt he take it over to the USA to sell. I wonder if at all, he got a good price for it. :confused:

I found 2 Street machine mags with Adam Lucas's Monaro.
They are Street Machine (april 2000)
plus Street Machine ( summernats 2000)
I did a quick search to find some pictures but came up empty, so I scanned one out of the mag.
