Over the weekend Replicarz had another clearance sale, something they do once a quarter. I picked up IXO's for US$13.50, Sparks for US$19.80 and Bizarre models for US$ 22.50 - 26.00. It's a great way to add models that you wouldn't normally buy if they were at full price.

It would be great if Biante did something similar and once or twice a year offered less popular/slow moving stock at discounted prices.

A few months after Biante changed hands, the new owners had a BIG warehouse clearance of 'dead stock'. This stock was offered to the Biante stockists at a substantial discount.

The problem is, can / will the stockist pass on that discount, given that they may be carrying the same 'dead stock' they originally purchased at full price??

I would presume that Biante, as a wholesaler, would again give first offer to their stockists on any future discounted 'dead stock'.

Foot Note:
Some retail model shops do have their own loyalty (discount) program and occasionally offer discounts on their own 'dead stock'.

If you still look on the website there are still some models at reduced prices. Just pays to surf the site i suppose.
