I recieved my Biante security system (invisible marker and UV light) today and have marked some of my models already with my drivers licence number and the COA number and depending on where the numbers are placed they are invisible to the naked eye. When the light is shone on them they stick out like the dog's proverbials. If anyone is considering buying one of these marker sets to help protect their (addictive) collection then i can highly reccomend that they do so and mark all their models with their drivers licence (unique ) number.
Thanks to Trevor Bev and the crew for a great product.:D

Glad you like it.
We have done these at almost cost to make sure anyone can get it and so protect their models etc.
If you think that the ink shows up alittle bit when dry, as it will on some surfaces, you can rub the residue off and its still visible with the light.
Another good use, is to write your passwords, membership numbers etc onto the side, top, bottom etc of your monitor.

What a Great idea Biante,

I think it would be a good idea if Biante could set up 'Data Bank' for those who have had Diecasts Stolen but marked with the Magic Pen, so dealers of second hand or persons could check that the diecasts weren't hot.

I'm not quite sure how to set up a security method but hopefully this is food for thought.

i bought my brother a uv light for his car for xmas, if you made a pattern on his dash with the pen would it show up?
and if the theives read this forum, then wouldnt they just get one of these to see where the number is and just lightly sand it off.
would it leave a mark on the windows? if not you could write on the inside of the window where it will show if it was removed.
and last of all, are these security devises avaliable from model shops, like triking?

Received my pen & UV light 2day, anyone thinking about this should definately purchase one, i also agree with a previous thread a database for owners models would be an excellent idea.
even if it was a file for stolen models only:)

I have a database set up on my website where you can enter your car details, Model Number, Model Description, Certificate Number,How many model were made, Scale, Manufacturer...all you need to do is register so that you have an id to assign the models to by using an email address :)
See my signature for the link.
