for anyone who likes the Pontiac G8 look what i saw today.
it has decals on it and a chrome petrol cap.
does any one know what model of the G8 it exactly is?

From memory, the G8 is a cross between the Calais and an SS:)

I'm sure I read that somewhere (Motor most likely), that the G8 was sporty like the SS, but had the subtleness of a Calais.......

Very fuzzy video, but that large chrome cap reminds me of the fuel cell cap that the bi-fuel BMW 'Hydrogen 7' series features. Who knows ... Holden experimenting with other alternative fuels ... they've already been playing with ethanol and bio-fuels.

As for the Pontiac G8 ... if you see 'G8' and 'GT' badges on the bootlid and quad-pipes, then you're looking at V8 version (like SS) ... if only a 'G8' badge and dual-pipes, then you're looking at the V6 version (like SV6).

Another possibility is the Pontiac G8 GXP, the forthcoming V8 performance sedan that will feature the option of a 6-speed manual transmission not currently offered in the G8 GT sedans.
