What a weekend!

Winton historics, NSW State Races at Eastern Creek (ten minutes from home) Nurburgring 24 Hour, Monaco GP, Indy 500 and Charlotte 600.

Good thing I'm sick (no really - wanna hear the cough and absence of voice) so I could sit up all night and watch the single-seaters.

And Charlotte's on now. Yay for me. Cough cough choke sneeze blow nose take more drugs.

More points for Webber, a win for Scott Dixon (born in Brisbane, so he's not really a Kiwi), a good finish for Mal Rose in the ex-GRM Commodore.

How is Scott Dixon not a Kiwi ?
New Zealand passport, New Zealand racing licence, considers himself Kiwi...

By that way of thinking; Phar Lap, Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Russell Ingall, Steven Richards, Andrew Symonds aren't fair dinkum Aussies...

Give the Kiwis their moment of glory.

You can fly the Aussie flag when Briscoe or Power win.............

Oh, all right.

But he WAS born in Brisbane!

And you forgot:

Angus, Malcolm and George Young (AC/DC and The Easybeats), John Young (no relation), Red Simons (Skyhooks), Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb (Bee Gees), Olivia Newton-John, Mel Gibson, Billy Thorpe and Bryce Courtenay!

He drove a great race, didn't he?

Well I know that it is very hard to find a place in NZ that sells return tickets when you want to travel to Australia....:laugh4:
