Peter warren ford day is usually in August, one week before the V8 Oran park round?????
This year the OP round is in December, does any one know what is happening with the Ford day?

Obviously you are so narrow-minded that you can't even type the word FORD but the day has been and gone (on Sunday in fact). Why wouldn't FORD include the footy players in the special guests for the day seeing as though they spend so much money in sponsorship and some motoring fans also like the AFL especially in Melbourne.

It was a great day with interactive activities with the drivers and fans from handball competitions, photo opportunities, signings and even a few of the lucky fans got to 'race' against the drivers on the Daytona arcade game and Dodgem Cars...........

Not only that, but all of the FORD teams and drivers were there with the opportunity to walk through the transporters. It is just a pity that HOLDEN (see there you go it is easy to write the rivals name) cant organise the same thing for their fans....

Sorry guys to hijack the tread but back to the topic, unfortunately my stint for work finishes a week earlier than the Peter Warren All Ford Day so I wont be there after spending 9 weeks in Sydney for work, but will be back for Aust Muscle Car Masters in September

AFD actually marks the start of my favourite time of the year - AFD, Muscle Car Masters, Bathurst, and Oran Park. As well as the serious part of the F1 and V8's seasons.

Geez loosen up Motiv8 it's been a long standing joke started by my late father who inducted me into the world of cars when I very young.

I remember him telling my older brother & I - "I never want to hear that 4 lettered word in my home" My brother said " What F--k" Dad replied "no F--d!!

Anyway lots of my mates drive the dark side's muscle cars such as Mustangs, GTHO's etc & they are all good blokes driving great looking cars - it's just that I drive an old monaro & own 3 red lions & have never owned anything else so there is my passion.

I don't believe that motorsport & car shows need other sports stars to promote it - it has own stars in which to attract the fans - is Dick, Allan, Colin, Lowdnes, Whincup, Frosty going to be there?

So relax take a chill pill - good hearted rivallry is great fun - ask my mates we rag each other's makes all the time but in reality we love each others cars.
