View Full Version : cleaning decals without damage

hi all, is there anything i can use over decals on my biante 65e xy to clean them without damaging?? because the 65e on the bonnet of the car seem to have yellowing and looks dirty..also the black bonnet stripes look a little dirty when in the light..can i use water and dishwashing liquid? i have no idea...

Mild warm solution of DW liquid & water me thinks. If you do a search Im fairly certain there are a number of threads dealing with this issue already.

Be very very careful with the Biante 65E!!! There getting old and the decals are not the best. I think I would leave it be or you will be chasing new decals :)

I use on my models those cloths you get with your sun/reading glasses. Just rub very lightly over car/decals , the trick is to rub lightly. :)

no probs, its all good..used dishwashing liquid and a cotton bud..car looks brand new now..not old and worn..also just realised i have a low coa:) 600 something...not that its a big deal to me..

Bud I think a little post search is the way to go. ;) Keeps all the old info with the new stuff & you may even find your answer in there. :)

oh yes sorry i shouldve done that first..but sometimes its hard to find exactly what ur after..thanks for the help anyway guys..all done now

no no im not forgetful:p:p this is a different question..i never got answer about what i can use to clean DECALS in the other thread..anyway its all done now
