Hi everyone

just returned from a visit to the DJR workshop (its about 45mins away for me) today 02 Jan 03.

The fab four (Sierra, Mustang, Tru Blue XD with Rock and Green XE) are still on display with the Norm Beechey Falcon.

He now has a Johnson AU Falcon in showroom area. In the workshop it was shut down for the holidays and no activity in there.

On the hoist was The Rats AU which looks like its getting repaired and on the floor was Junior's AU, There was a grey body shell which i assumed was the new BA which appeared to have no work done on it yet.

Also the Falcon from 93 or 94 (i think) that they are restoring was covered up.

For anyone interested they are selling damaged body panels from the DJR AU's from various races at half price this month only.

I know freight would be an extra cost but for those interested:

Front Bar $250
Rear Bar $175
Bonnets $150
Front door $150 (no 18 available only)
Rear door $125
Guards $60
Rear Quarter $90
Skirt $50

All panels are marked with the race and car it was taken off from and come with a signed numbered certificate STATING THE HISTORY OF THE PANEL from DJ

Before anyone says it, yes they have a few damaged panels from this year:D

Have you tried the workshop tour BATHURSTFAN?
They sometimes are guided by Steve Johnson.
I got myself a side skirt when I went there in September,it was from the Rats car-Friday,Barbagello 2002 and it still has the dust on it.

No I didn't, the workshop tours are on Wednesdays. I think its $15 for the tour. I think most of the staff are on holidays anyhow.

I'll have to do it though - one day.

I got The Rats No 18 drivers door from Oran Park - now what do i do with it ?:p

The door was in pretty good condition, a few light battle scars. No glass, mirror or handle comes with it.
