Yellow Ferrari F50 Maisto, Rare?

A person on the buy and sell ,Shane, is trying to sell a Maisto 1/18 F50 yellow and states that this is a rare carmodel.
I would like to know more about it ,
I do have one and only today made the decision to ditch this one as I have to many of them:confused:
any info would be most welcome.

The only thing rare about it is that is the only one being offered on Biante, these things are everywhere, just look in Target and the discount stores.

It sounds to me also like a fishy story as they are for sale on Ebay for just about nought.
So another shall we say dreamer who is at best misinformed and at worst is trying it on so for the uninitiated ;Beware of this one.

I collect mineral specimens (anyone know where I can get some good Qld Agate Creek agates?) and I'm forever finding people advertising on eBay, saying that this or that is "RARE!!!!" or similar, usually something that is ten a penny. I guess it might work if a buyer was new to the game and didn't know, but it's naughty at the very least.

I have two of these (one red and one yellow). I havent seen them anywhere since they were released by shell several years ago. I must admit I havent been looking for them either. are you guys sure they are in Target etc??
