I just got my HT GTS 350 Monaro from the shop, couldn't wait to get home and inspect it with my microscope :p

Must say well done to Biante/AutoArt for yet another superb release, took you a while but now I finally have another Aussie Muscle Car of the same era to place along-side the Falcon GTHO's. Now all I need is a Charger.

Back to the HT, those of you who have it already might have noticed a few very small discrepancies to the real deal. How about that lower chrome moulding on the boot, doesn't that belong on the HG's? Where did the interior lights go on the rear pillars? I'm not sure but wasn't there also a muffler under the boot before the tailpipes? And did anyone notice that there are holes in the diff axle tubing! I remember the (early) pre-release photos having a rear sway bar, I guess they realised these cars never came out with rear sway bars so simply removed it. You will also notice other holes near the front of the rear spring hangers from this deletion also. I can just imagine a small mound of little blue sway bars sitting around on someone’s workbench :D

Anyway it is still a great model, maybe the best, and no I'm not biased, I'm not MAD about Monaros, I just bought it because I like the look of it, and maybe 'cause it bears some resemblance to that thing in the garage...

Hey, MM, I'm not pushing other brands as I only collect 1/43, but if you want a big-scale Charger there are a few out there, new.
CC has a Magenta 1/18 r/t, Trax has a 1/24 Magenta r/t (their Vit C job sold out in quick time) and have just released Leo Geoghan's racing E38 in 1/24. Much as I admire Biantes models, they may have missed the boat here, unless admin. would like to enlighten us?

Thanks, FB & Admin., that's good to know. The old Chargers & Valos have been out in the cold for a long time. About time they got some attention. As well as Chargers, there's also Pacers & Australia's first locally produced (of the "Big Three") V8 - the AP6.
My ex-brother-in-law once had the next model, the VC V8, & to make the point, it had no fewer than 10 V8 badges on the exterior, & 4 on the inside! Nice car, too.
