Gidday all,
27th January is the All Holden Day show in Melbourne at Sandown Raceway. I've decided I also want to display 8 of my 1/18 cars and approx a dozen or more so 1/43 (& smaller).
I have a dileman, while I have 2 IKEA display cabinets at home housing the lot with room to spare, I don't have a cabinet to take with me to the show and am not keen on spending money for a potential once off use of a lockable display cabinet. :(
I was wondering if a fellow collector in Melbourne possibly had a lockable cabinet that would house all of these cars for the day? I just don't want any of my cars swiped or damaged - and would like to be able to display them. So can anyone out there help at all? or put me onto someone that could?
The "worst case" is that I buy a budget lockable display case with a glass front or something, for less than $200.. but I think my chances are very slim considering the number of cars I'm looking at putting on display.
Last case worst case scenario is to dis-assemble one of my IKEA cabinets and bring it to the show, and basically screw the door shut..
