guys if this is going to turn into a for sale ad, then action will be taken, I don't believe this thread was started to be such, so can we get it back on topic

Sorry Brad, I posted that assuming the answer would be that they would move inventory to other GW's.
If I have solicited responses to the contrary I apologize.

I know of 4 that are struggling, the price increase, the economy, and the Ebay shops slashing the prices is making it very difficult to make a quid.

This is very sad news and if anything should really make it clear to all collectors that if ever there was a time to stay loyal to your local, now is the time!

Do you thinks that there may be a reson for the stock problem. Like the amount of cars put out at the end of last. From what I hear there are afew stores struggling to keep up with there bills. due these large numbers. And then they have customer that pre-order and dont pick up. This leaves them over stock. This is got to hurt. I know I will be staying loyal to my supplier. They have always looked after me. They where here befor stupid EVIL bay

im on the same boat i have a fewdiff stores i stay loyal too
1 just for classics another just for biante as they can look after me better just for 1 or the other
and a couple of local guys ive recently helped them boost there sales records by letting ppl know that they had certain models that no one knew they even had to which there starting to settle back in the black rather than tip toe'ing on the red

loyal here to for all new releases to my local store :D only shops elsewhere for old releases he doesnt have anymore and he looks after me also for being loyal so its a two way street is a little over hearing people bagging out the stores some need to look at the bigger picture and see whats really been going on for some of the stores as to why they cant pay bills

I think price rises and the sheer number in editions of certain vehicles has seen people turn to ebay where they know prices will be lower.
Hard for us f1 collectors as well. A lot of the time we don't even know if certain models will even make it to this country.

Hard for us f1 collectors as well. A lot of the time we don't even know if certain models will even make it to this country.
And even if they do sometimes it's still far cheaper to buy from ebay/overseas.
