HG GTS 350 Monaro - Indy Orange.

Just got my Indy Orange Monaro, couldn't wait and made my model store unpack it from the 'just delivered' boxes.

Finally a HG Monaro in a large scale, how long have I waited for this! And what an awsome colour. Indy Orange looks so tough and suits this classic muscle car to a tee. Pictures simply don't do this model justice, it looks even better in the diecast.

This would have to be one of the hottest releases to date. I am totally wrapped and if I had to give up my model addiction tomorrow I think I would be happy to go cold turkey with this one on my top shelf :p (Thank god I don't have to)

This is a must for all Holden fans, I think even a few of you Ford boys might get one too. Mad if you don't, looks fantastic!

I received mine today too and as you say it looks wicked, especially parked next to its predecessor the HT. Come on down HK.

I like it how the lions den in perth get their cars about a week or two after everyone else in perth. i was talking to the guy in there and biante send the cars to the eastern states to holdens distribution centre then it gets sent back to perth. when biante is so close they could just get it direct. but atleast it gives me an extra week or two if everywhere else sells out before i have the money.

Hey Admin, don't you think its worth all the effort every time you get a new release? i'm greatfull you go to the effort every time i go down to my dealer to pick up the cars iv'e got on order.

p.s. just find out my dealer still has his TWIN MIRROR WHITE XY, must be the only one in the country not to have sold it off for a quick buck, gives me faith that i'm buying my cars from the right guy.:)

Good point mate, I think I will stay right here on the east side.
I guess I can handle the wait for my diecast.
But on second thoughts after what happend here in Canberra yesterday Perth is sounding better and better.

Picked up mine Friday. Excellent model, awesome colour.
I don't know about living in Perth but I live in Brisbane and my local HSV Shop had the Indy Orange GTS 350 on sale from last Thursday afternoon 15/01/03 (sold out if I remember correctly). Most of these models were shipped out to Holden dealer around Qld so they are out there early- through Holden anyway.

I just purchased my HG and what a great model, it looks nice next to my phase 3. Was the HG monaro meant to come with a brochure? as there was not one present with mine.

Just picked up my HG Monaro from Metro Holden in Adelaide. Now that is a good looking car. The colour jumps out at you. Stunning. Probably the best looking model made so far, and I am a Ford Fan.

Just ordered mine from Biante……………now I cant wait to get it,
I don’t mind waiting on some models, I like to read the feedback all you guys leave on a particular model, helps me make up my mind, but yes, the downside is missing a particular model.

Hey Guys.

Just got my HG GTS & have a question.

When I opened the box, a real tiny MONARO badge fell out onto the table.

It is exactly the same as the ones on the Rear Pillars of the car.

I am not sure whether it is from my car or an EXTRA that accidently got placed in the box.

There is only the GTS 350 badge on the Right Hand Side of the boot. Should there be a Monaro badge on the other side.

Can someone check this on there model & tell me if it has fallen off or is it an extra.

Yes there are Brochures with both the Monaro's The Monaro GTS 350 is in a similar background colour with the engine department showing as a backdrop and the model sharply in the middle .
The HG Monaro is in a Yellowish background with Bold Blue Lettering and as a background showing the front and the rear of the car and again the model in the middle sharp.
Both are single leaf half of A4
