well i picked up my ht gts today and found some faults with it and was wondering if admin could explain what's the go.
1) the wood grain finish on the glove box lid was removed on the gts model and replaced with a grained black vinly with agts badge on it
2) the centre facia with imitation wood finish inserts which extands from the dash pad to the lower edge of the instrument panel incorparting the ash tray with "holden"desigation on the radio cover
3) the rear vision support was chromed
4) there where co-orinated lap & shoulder shoulder belts for the front, whinch hang from the roof lining and not out of the rear trim card
5) no dome lights in rear quarter roof trim
6) no gts badge in upper centre rear bench
7) deck lid featured black paint filled mould top only
8) no chrome scuff plates between doors and body
9) they had a two piece black rubber mat in the boot not carpet which spare tyre was shown
10) the tailshaft on the ht 350 model was violet not orange
so maybe admin might set me straight and tell me why was all this missed and can we expept the same on the HG

The grill on my HT was sticking out. Looked like Sh... Had to pu**** in. Looks ok now. and speaking of tailshafts, on the Geoghan Mustang the taikshaft turns when you turn the wheels. Cool

if your that unhappy with the HT, sell it to someone who will appreciate it.
You people buy these models then pick the s*** out of them. Everyone's an expert. Being anonymous on the web helps too.
Try appreciating them for once and quit *****ing about them.

Mine arrived with the exhaust not connected. Fixed it myself. these things, like your grille happen, but to write an essay and start picking the crap out of it, what's the point, just checked the photos of my old man's ORIGINAL HT GTS. No badge in back seat, no chrome scuff plates (optional on originals). So who's right. Like I said, not picking on you, just the so called experts

Bernoo,
Unfortunately, these models are assembled by Humans, who unlike your good self, are not perfect.
So the tailshaft turns...does the gearbox and engine turn?
The Barbie Camaro had a tailshaft that turned 6 years ago, but if its not connected from the motor to the wheels, its a toy and not accurate.
Perhaps you and Nitro should start your own business....I won't hold my breath waiting for the first release.

I just love the way the critics bag the pants off the Biante range then say ''great model...well done''.....can you say hypocrite. Here's an idea, buy a REAL HT GTS then write to GMH and have a good old whinge because it has GT radials on it now and that wasnt original or its equiped with Quartz Halogen headlights or Heaven forbid a 'BOW TIE' badge in the middle of the grille.
Wake up and be thankful that we dont have to buy Maisto or what ever the hell it is.

Richard, It makes me laugh when all these experts critisize the
quality of your product then don't have guts to put their real name
on this site. If your not happy with what you have bought then
don't buy anymore and take your schoolyard whinging some place else as these are models NOT real cars.

mine didnt come with a dealer warranty, as a matter of fact, where are the keys!! relax a little people otherwise you can always buy a bburago. people should just be happy by the fact that there is somebody making Australian cars, good on you biante!

I suppose thats one problem with making these cars is that how many REAL cars left the factory identical, so which car does Biante reproduce to keep the customers happy?.
With all the parts in these cars of course there are going to manufacturing problems, as long as its monitored to keep these things from escalating (WHICH I'M SURE BIANTE DO) then everything should be fine.
Yes i find very minor problems and i could list them here but I won't, but the one thing that disappoints, and has been mentioned several times before are the XB headlights. Biante obviously don't think the costs of rectifying this problem as being worthwhile, my choice? I have the Moffat Brut XB and i'll get a road version and no more because of it.
The other problem model manufacturers have to contend with are collectors who are keen to get a particular favourite model and will scrutinise that car more than the others or are more sensitive to any details.
If I had got the Monaro I probably wouldn't have noticed 10% of the stuff mentioned, but when it comes to Fords I look more closely as I know a little more about them.

I was put off the HT purely because of the cheapo solid grill. This ruined what is otherwise a fantastic model.

The aerial improvement on the HT is a great idea, its less likely to break and not as brittle as previous antenna. Oh and just for the record re the closed thread, if comparisons are limited to the same cars made by different manufacturer's Biante will win every time.

I totally agree with Bathurst fan,
sure we have a winge when Biante get it wrong but everybody has the right to (free country all that crap.....) and maybe they'll try a little harder next time to please the purfectionest's out there!
Ill keep buying them untill someone can make them better.
