Jaguar models are made by Hot Wheels. I have to admit that HW's Jags and Jordans are nicer than the rest of their models, albeit not quite up to MInichamps standards.

Mark Webber drove the C4 last week at the ford testtrack in Lommel and did traightline speed testing etc
Also footage was taken of the car that will be used with the virtual launch of the C4 Jaguar worldwide
Lommel is a trackfacility in Belgie just over the border with Holland

berkut76............

Thanks for the info on the Jaguar models. I was particularly taken with the 1:43 model.

Just love the Jaguar paint schemes................and sponsors.

Hey ferrari fan.....what do you think of Jaguar being called the 'British Ferrari" by none other than Ross Brawn, Technical Director at Ferrari. Huge compliment in my book.....i really hope Jaguar do well in 2003/2004. I have the full quote from Brawn below. Jaguar certainly have the heritage and perhaps the pedigree.....

“Jaguar really could become the British Ferrari, Brawn told F1 Racing magazine. “They do their own engine. They do their own car. Maybe one day, a team like theirs could be a new challenge.

Good Luck Jaguar and the other teams

Have been interested in F1 for 30 odd years and love every bit of it from the today stuff to the very early beginning
The more the racing is close and exciting the better I do like it.
Jaguar is steeped in motoringhistory and when Stewart racing became Jaguar a repainted car was here in Perth on show.
This was a great chance to inspect it very up close
Pity Eddy Irvine has left but sensational that Mark Webber is in the seat. Also from a Model point of view
Ford has been the most succesfull engine in the history of F1 and anybody with an ounce of brainpower will never write this conglomotate off. They have to succeed ,to much at stake!
Besides My Wife and I do addore and have cats and treat them as our children so how can I not like Jaguar racing:D

Today Mark is testing at the circuit close to Barcelona
He is right up there with the very best.
Either they have thrown a bigger engine in it or it is looking very good for the season.
His teammate Pizzywhatever was either walking around or must have gone to the lunchbar to get morningtea to do a time like this
Looking forward on a interesting season
Don't miss it .Us Aussies ,including imports like me, have a lot to cheer for.
