After reading so much of the Ford vs Holden debate lately, I wondered just how many of each side there are reading this forum from the respective sides.
Each to their own I suppose,
cheers.:D

As long as it's good wheel-to-wheel combat, does it really matter?

I also have no set company....both have produced respectable muscle cars over the years that manage to strike that certain sentimental cord as they appear from time to time on the streets of suburbia.
When I was a kid I admit that I was blinded by the light of Holden and all Fords werent worth crossing the street for....but these days t seems that 80% of my memorabilia is of blue oval origin.

P.S I would like to see a Falcon take the ATCC out this year...GO RUSSEL!!!!!!!!

I drive a Ford XR but also am a Holden man from way back.
I just want to see good close racing.....................
Bring on the 2003 season(s):D
There have been some impressive GM and GMH rides over the years, but I have to say I'm a Ford Man!!
Mind you, drove a new VY today and thought it was quite good..
Must be softening as I grow older, I have a Mazda RX7.
I'm looking forward to the day when I can get a new BA Pursuit ute though, just need more $$$!!!

I too drove one of those VY's (manual Commodore S) last week & they drive very well.
The following day I got to drive my 1st Barra (Auto Futura) & it very hard to decide which one to buy.
My heart says go the Falcon (because I think my blood is blue) but after my last one (EL Falcon) which was great for the first 100,000kms but the last 20,000 have been hell with 4 break downs due to parts failing, my mind is saying go the Holden.
At least finding a team to following in the V8's is far more easier. Life long DJR supportor for as long as I can remember,
cheers.

25 Ford v 30 Holden
where are the rest of the Ford fans ?????
Looks like once again Ford has been defeated, surely something has to done !!!
I think AVESCO need to interviene & allow all Ford fans votes to be worth more so that we can have some pariety as the prefurred 51/49% split has not been acheived yet
cheers
