So at least one of the Hertz cars found its way over there, huh?
Wish I had been old enough to rent cars back then, instead of pushing them across the floor!

Fantastic pictures Mark, thanks for sharing them. Looks like there was an excellent turn out of a very varied array of cars.
Of course you know I'm going to ask you to email me a bigger version of that black 65 `Cuda...
Cheers

Yeah great pics Mark.....did you see any 58 Chevs there? I usually go to 'Wintersun' at Coolangatta in June and they always have a good turn out.....does anyone else venture up to QLD to see it? Worth a look if you're into old American iron.

zeitgeist,
there are a few GT-350H getting around. I know of 3 in our club (state branch). We have one 65 GT-350 and quite a few 67, 69 & 70's models. The 68 I think I have only seen one and it was a convertable.
We also have several 69 Boss 302's, multiple 70 302 Boss Mustangs and the odd 70 429 Boss.
Peter, yeah there was a few 65 3/4 Muzzies there, I hope you are keeping an eye out for them ;)
Jeremy, sorry mate there were was one 58 Chev but by the time I got to it I was out of film. Sorry about that.
Sherridan I will get the photo's emailed off to you in the next few days ok.
Thanks guys glad you enjoyed them.
Over all the numbers were down at the show over past years.
One intersting car I came across was a 66 convertable which looked like a Shelby. Now the 66 Shelby GT350 convertable is a rare car indeed, with only 6 ever made. This car even had a Shelby SFM plate on the left hand side inner guard (fender) for our American mates.
Pity the VIN number showing the engine code gave away the game. I wonder how many people would fall for it being a Shelby.

Thanks V8coupe,
I'm a bit partial to the 2nd Generation Trans Am's myself but you got to love that yankee iron.
