Hope one of them (if rumour is true) is HRT as they belong at Biante IMO.

Its probably the teams that Biante are alreay doing?

Classic sponsor a few of the teams like Biante do & I'd expect those deals to go for the rest of 2009 at least.
Interesting one though & if true you'd expect Biante to announce if the goss is already on the streets.

you'll probably find its the teams that biante are modelling as i think from memory i noticed classic carlectables have still got a sticker on the front corner of the actual cars at race meetings that they shouldnt of

Hope one of them (if rumour is true) is HRT as they belong at Biante IMO. CC havn't done a bad job of the HRT models over the lest 2 or 3 years though mate.
No QC issues for any of my Skaife models (apart from the chip that my dad made) and the 08 cars look stunning.
Anyway, I wonder who's VE mould will be better. CC's or Biante's.

CC's VE mould has been quite good i think. I have both HRT models from 07 & the 3 from 08 and all are flawless. Hoping Biante do a good job for both the FG & the VE, and the FG falcon moulds come out shmick...for both CC and Biante. Just to get that confidence back after the last couple of years with some terrible results coming from BF falcon models....some have come out with terrible QC issues.

Just had a look on the CC forum and this is apparently incorrect according to Steve Collins.Cheers,

Judging by Biante's models of late it should be very good (hopefully)

Do ya reckon he would admit to it ?;) Stuffed if I know Bruce, I don't know the man or visit CC more than once a month.;)
If he says that its not the case, I believe him mate.
Anyway, Biante better hurry up with the VE's otherwise they'll be real outdated.
Cheers,:)

Well.....he did say that the the BF mould used for the 2008 Bathurst winner was fixed from previous faults.........and what happened...........the 2008 winner had the same faults :p

Maybe the news is for the 2010 season....not 2009?

Not doubting what your saying Thomas, what i mean is , IF it is true, i find it hard to believe that a manager or whatever he is would bleat it out on a forum:cool:

IMO, I think that SMS/CC has gone down hill in terms of the Management listening & acting on issues brought up, esp QC since the Founder retired & his Son took over Management.:(

Unfortunately, I Can't see it improving anytime soon as the bottom line $$$$ seem to be the priority as SMS won't listen to their Customer base nor their retailers:mad:

The first of the VEs were a bit rough in a few places, noteably the bonnet being the wrong shape around the grill opening.

It is as good as the fuel filler discrepancy. I had Steven Collins ring me about an unrelated matter in about early 2008 or something like that and I said about this and he replied that it was all fixed and the filler issue was resolved then and would be correct from then on. How are they going to get fuel in the red dust car if it is a replica? there is a solid panel in the way!!!!!!!!!!!!

perhaps they were just talking about the 4 teams who Biante are now making for season 2009, DJR, GRM, BJR & Bright ???
