Ok back in the mid 90s i think for maybe a Bathurst Special with the test done at the Creek... Skaifey did a test in his Commie and then a privateer Commie (Lansvale) to show the difference between the cars and drivers... I forget if it was Trev or Big Bird...one of them drove Skaife's car.. Now was this a Winfield car?

That would've been 'Big Bird' Steve Reed pedalling Skaife's Winfield Commodore. It was a piece by Mark Oastler comparing the differences between the professional teams and the privateers, using Gibson and Lansvale as examples. It was shown before the '94 Great Race.

In Speedway, the Tatnells (and I think Garry Rush on a few occasions) ran their cars in Winfield colours in the late 80s, whilst Team Kelly ran a pair of cars in Winfield red in the early-to-mid 90s at least.

Figured someone would remember it :)

Yep the Tatnell cars ran Winfield till about 92. Rushy ran Winfield till the end of the 89-90 season, i think, then went back to having his business as major sponsor for a couple of seasons before picking up Castrol as his sponsor, and Bob and John Kelly ran Winfield til the end of the 94-95 season again i think.
