I believe its because its crap, but thats my opinion.....im not a fan of CC's XW/XY road/race cars

dont get me wrong, the detail is there, the correct body shape isnt

Biante's XW/XY's are far more superior, again just my opinion

UNDFTD,

Could you explain a little further why you don't like the CC version? I don't have any at the moment but have been planning on buying the Bartlett and French 1971 Bathurst Falcons. I have had a quick look at both of these CC cars and thought they looked virtually the same as the Biante cars.

CC 's look too long, good detail but. I believe the 73ATCC winner looks the best out of CC GTHO'S, the Two BW's just don't look quite right. I would go a Biante one any day, plus you get the bonus of a signed COA if you buy certain cars. The John French car can be picked up at a reasonable price and you get a signature on the COA is you go the Biante way.

well like i stated in my previous post, the detail is there (hinges, seatbelts, chrome mouldings, chrome scuffplates etc) but i believe the body shape is wrong....its long and narrow but my main concern is the rear wheel arches and the ride height in the rear. i have a 1:1 XY Fairmont that im restoring and when i compare my Biante XY models to the real thing...... Biante have the body shape down to a tee and CC simply dont.

CC need to take a good look at their R&D team.... have you seen the body shape on the 95 ad 97 Bathurst winners?
at least Biante get the overall body shape right when they constuct a model, have a look at their VR/VS commodore, im sure alot of you guys would agree that it is prety accurate.

FYI folks were talking 1:43 scale here not 1:18, the bartlett car was only released in 1:43 and there isn't much to split the two in that scale.
some pics with the Biante XY on the left.

The two cars sit well next to each other in the cabinet so I hope these pics help you make up your mind GTHO Racers.

I have both Biante & CC XY's :)

When you scale things down there are the inevitable Scaling differences:p.

From what I understand, both Biante & CC both worked from the original Ford drawings & they both came out with different interpretations

I have the 55E Bartlett Car & IMO it looks grouse:cool:

Thanks guys for the replies and a big thank you to Shawn and malscar for the photos. By the way the John French car that I am speaking about isn't the 1972 Wild Violet car it's the 71 Vermillion Fire sister car to Moffats.

Am i right in thinking that because CC have produced these two cars Biante won't?
