Just had the plaque delivered - looks great - job well done and worth the $$. Only thing is - it's fairly weighty, ah well, i think i might go and reinforce the glass shelving in the display cabinet, or maybe find a rail spike to hang it on the wall ;) .

FORDS - KEEP ON CRUZIN

bACK TO THE PLAGUE very well done indeed.
I think that when you all get your XE J.H. 1000 '83 you will agree that this is another milestone in Diecast modeling :)

I received my " heavy metal" plaque on thursday and it is hanging up on the door frame between the kitchen and the diecast room. Too heavy to put into one of my display cabinets. Really nice looking bit of gear though, as is the second DJR Kermit, aka green XE Falcon.
Bit of a spooky model though. when i pulled the box out of the packing carton the bonnet was completely off, and the car was nowhere near Bathurst. I've had a good look over the car and there was no damage done to either the car or the bonnet and with a gentle push the bonnet slipped back into place just like it was always there. Talk about twilight zone, that is the only model i have received (among hundreds of all scales) that anything has been loose, and it just happened to be Dicks tree thumper.

Arrrgh! Make that 'had'. I sent Garry an email at 7:00 AM Perth time and he told me it sold on Friday! How nice of him to return emails an hour before they opened.

Okay......no one post juicy information like this while I'm asleep.

Oh, man. I hope people know I was being facetious in that previous post. As a rule, I don't use emoticons, but sometimes that backfires on me.

FF - please keep info like that coming.

As an additional note, Garry was nice enough to tell me the Sierra selling price so I can get an idea of what is fair.

Maybe an idea to let Garry know what you REALY want by email and your chances of getting it if it comes available are better.
This is a retailoutlet where an awfull lot of models fly in and out.
This is THE premier retailoutlet in W.A. And they do purchase collections all the time ,(as they pay a fair price). The Biante Mailorder organisation who do not deal in trade in models, only factory fresh new ones.

I received my plaque today.

I can only agree with all the above comments.

The plaque is excellent. (typical Biante standard)
