Shell Servo have on sale 6 Collectable Ford Number Plates for $4.95 each.
Got a set from my local shell servo ( Eastern creek) ,been on sale for about a week.
I can't post any photos.

Saw them this morning whilst filling up at Shell Servo....Seem to be extremely well done from what I could ascertain.....Didn't buy any but, I need to build a wall 8 foot high by 456 foot long to put up all of the stuff I already have !!! :D

I saw them, not to bad. I picked up a couple of cobra ones as they look very good.
I'm hoping they do some like that in a Holden range.

I saw the XB on yesterday and compared to the very classy HSV ones I think they're tacky, but that's just my opinion

Just picked them up. I think for the $ they are great. Pretty slack that Ford themselves can't even get the correct GT

They made an absolute balls up of these.
on the Cobra one,at the bottom it reads XC GT(WTF?)
XA has XB door handles (WTF?)
XY pic not a XW. (WTF?)

Look at the front L/H/S wheel on the XB, would you buy a car with a wheel that looks like that?
Didn't the XR only come in a Darker gold not mustard, exept fot the bathurst promo and racers. I think ther may have been 1 or 2 in maroon

The front wheel looks to be on about a 30 degree angle.
Short story, Probably goes back about 6 months or so when in KMart, they had a shopping trolley full of the Holden ones near the checkout going for 99c each. Did not buy any only to fall across some on ebay a little while later going for many times that. Coulda shoulda turned 100 bucks into 1500 bucks.

bought one of the '69 XW/XY ones for my GF's step dad ( big GT nut ). didn't really care for the incorrect details on it as it still looked good and was $5! he was wrapped too.

I am led to beleive (and I could be wrong) that Ford has now asked Shell to recall stock on hand of the XW/XY & XC plates as they are incorrect.....

So should we race out n buy up all the stock and sell it later at huge mark up as error produced item like they do with the coins pmsl
About 11 or so weeks ago I got a call from the Manufacturer about the stuff up plates. They were going to send me a replacement(CORRECTED). The next dat SHELL rang for my address to send one in 10 or so weeks. I got this direct from china and am expecting one from Shell shortly. They have no intention of fixing the Cobra or the XA one.
Damn Photobucket is having a Spaz. I will have to try to get a pic a little later

are they releasing a hole new set of six? or are they planning on fixing there **** up's instead?
They have no intention of fixing the Cobra or the XA one.

1 - cheap looking
2 - printed not 'embossed' like real number plates
3 - very questionable graphics, quite amateur looking.

They have done ford stubby holders now the plates, would be nice to see something from the General.
Maybe it's a special licencing agreement from ford. ???
Think I will pass on these:
1 - cheap looking
2 - printed not 'embossed' like real number plates
3 - very questionable graphics, quite amateur looking.

i cant find them anywhere i have been to 15 shell servo's they either haven't got them or there sold out and 2 of the servo's told me they didn't do that promotion

Make sure that it is a Coles Express servo as they seem to have the deal and not the Shell only brand.
