Living in Canada, I only recently found out about the models produced by Biante.
The cool Australian Muscle Cars are great! I would love to get a hold of one of the Falcon GTHO's. I believe after looking at the colors abvailable, Yellow Ochre is the one I want.
Can anyone out there please let me know what is a resonable price to pay for one. I've noticed a huge variance in prices depending on the color, when the car was released, or special features on the car (ie. two V.S one rear view mirror). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Welcome to the Forum,
You will probably pay approxiamately $250.00 Aust for one.
I know a retailer who has one in stock at the moment, so if you desire to own the model, then contact Dave at Road Rage Diecast models here in Queensland and I'm sure he will be happy to help you.
Ph: (07) 54324800 you have to add the international codes yourself.

Hi Scribby,
Seeing you live in Canada, you might want to try Scale 18. They might have some left, or they might have some other Australian Models that you like.

Scribby -
Like Damian said, try out scale18.com. They have a couple at US$89. that comes to approx AU$160. Figure in shipping and you'll save a bundle.
The only "problem" is that scale18's Yellow Ochre models don't have the CoA.
You have to decide what that piece of paper is worth.

Kevin, out of interest, how did you find out about Aussie muscle cars in the first place?

If you do manage to get hold of one of these models, here is some info. on the original Ph3. The colour of the model was a reasonably rare colour combination of Yellow Ochre with a saddle interior. Most cars were delivered with a black interior. Only 4 original cars were delivered in this combination with a further 1 with the optional cloth interior. If you wanted to be able to drive quickly without ending up in the passenger seat on tight RH bends then the cloth was the way to go. Alan Moffats own Ph3 road car had cloth inserts in it.
The photo (which I hope has attached) was taken in the Classic Adelaide Rally in about 2001. The car is a Yellow Ochre Ph3 with saddle interior.
