Question for admin, or anyone else that might know. Did the '83 crash car have a racecam in it (the stickers on the rear spoiler of the model, suggest it did)? If so, is there any reason that it was not included on the model? I think the little lipstick cameras that have been included on various models have been a mastertouch. Therefore I think it would be pretty cool to see the appropriate cars with the old Racecam set up, that used to be mounted where the passenger seat goes. Fantastic model regardless!

Hi Texan, the only footage I have seen of this car as it left the corner(external camera shot)...may suggest that it was not on board. Not 100% sure!

I've got Dick's 'True Blue' DVD and Yes it does have Race Cam onboard and it ain't no Lipstick size camera. In those days were about the size of half a carton of beer and just as heavy. There is also Sender and Reciever unit which is white situated on the back parcel shelf about the size of an oil filter. In every picture the camera is facing the dash and there are no highlights of any part of shoot out on it.
But isn't ironic in 1981 a Ford XD painted Green with Channel 7 logo had a stack on Mount Panorama.

Yes, the Bob Morris Falcon to be precise.....
A coming together with Christine Gibson (King George Tavern XD)
started it all in the prang of '81.....
Surely Bob's car must be high on the 'Must build next' XD list for Biante. It is a top looking car that one!! (Pre-crash...)
