New XA coupe

With the imminent release of the XA, I'm attempting to keep myself to one color. I've seen the red (obviously), a decent shot of the yellow and the briefest part of the green.

Do a number of you buy all the colors or just one? If you just buy one, what color do you think best represents this car? I was all set to buy the Red Pepper this Friday, but that little part of the green has me intrigued.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Calypso Green was just a trial model and the next XA is the Yellow Glow.

I'm sorry if that information was already available. I tried to search for "XA falcon" but was informed that XA was too small a string.

search under 'AUSTRALIAN' and select scale size, thats quickest way i know.

I'll get the yellow XA only, I try to get one of each model eg XA,XB,XC with a variety of colours as I already have the Candy Apple XW and the Red Moffat cars.

Thanks for the suggestion, but my searching difficulties were with this forum, not the model search. I think the model search only has the Red Pepper listed for now.

Is there a way to search for 'Falcon XA' (or something else like it) in the forum?

I'm with you on the color per model. Before I make a decision on the XA, I'd like to see some decent shots of each.

Definately Pepper Red for me. One of the more popular colours used. But then again each to the Own.

Look at future and possible XA model releases:

XA GT Red Pepper
XA GT Yellow Glo
XA GT Calypso Green

XA GT Bathurst Winner 1973 Moffat (Blue & white)
XA GT Bathurst Winner 1974 Goss (Blue)

I think red pepper will be the most popular and looks the best, Ford actually made an orange colour XAGT as well, but Biante are supposedly making a Tango/Black XB which i assume is similiar in colour.

Looking at a book of the real cars they all look great - EVEN THE GREEN ONE.

Maybe when they make four door versions then I might get a second choice:)

I have here what is claimed to be Ford's "official" XA GT colours, and how about Wild Violet, Jewel Green Metallic, Burgundy, Blue (just blue??), Ultra White or Onyx Black? Mmmmm, all very nice ideas for future releases! And WHEN the RPO 83 comes out, rear spoiler and all, it'll look fantastic in any of those colours.....

I did think my list was a bit short on the good ol' 70s colours, with their hippy trippy names! Well most of those extra ones would do me fine as well!

Polar White, Deep Ivy, Sky View Blue, Potery Biege, Blue Teal and Shadow Grey.

Lime Glaze is T, Summer Gold is O and Wild Plum is K.

Hey all you North American denizens -

Scale18.com's damaged section (http://www.scale18.com/cgi-bin/search18?func=damaged) has a Red Pepper XA in a damaged box for US$65. Not a fantastic price, but not too bad. It doesn't specifically mention a CoA, so you might want to ask.
