help with a picture re size

hey guys i put this in the main forum for 2 reasons its off motorsport figures and to attract more intrest but if the ods decide it needs to be moved can i ask for a few days on the main page first incase others miss it

anyway as alot of you have probly seen already i was extremly lucky to get this photo on friday at holden.....

now after consulting some people in the job from teds kodak dick smiths and starshots i got a 50/50 yes it can be unblurred and resized to whatever you want and the other half no nothing can be done too bad so sad

what i want to know is if any of you guys know how i can make this the size of say your average music icon poster you would get in kmart in the poster rack and fix the quality up as i wasnt too happy to see how blurred it was

does ayone know who does this sort of work and what costs id be looking at and anything i might need to know

also i have a time frame on this i will need it back to me by sunday the 8th of november as i want to get all the drivers to sign this at the island

thank you for any help you can offer me it will be greatly appreciated

You did well to get that shot. Who is the Ranga. It is a shame that the ring in is in the shot not just the drivers. Bugger about the Quality to. I am sure someone can fix it for you. I will ask the missus when she gets home as she has some wicked programs for scrapbooking stuff.

You can use a 'sharpen' filter in Adobe Photoshop but apart from thta I can't see much more you will be able to do with the image. However, technology has come a long way and I'm sure a professional will be able to help you in some way.

I would try one of those photo shops. with the latest computer technology it amazing what they can do.
They can do it on CSI :D.

2ndly to answer your q's it is on photobucket and all i did was plug the camera into the pc then moved to a file then uploaded it to photobucket from that file

i think its at 800 x 600 if that sounds right as thats what the mods asked pic to be resized to on here awhile ago

supa-roo, you may have photobucket set that when you upload to it, it will automatically set the picture size. That way when you put up links, they hopefully will be all the same size. Can not remember where that particular facility is, but it is in there.

if this helps at all the camera is taking image quality at SHQ 3072 X 2304 at 7.1 megapixels

If it's emailed as an attatchment it will stay the same size. I'm pretty sure photobucket automatically re-sizes the image when you upload.
Someone more knowledgable than me may be able to correct me but that's how I thought it worked.

Guys, here's a link to the toolbar download I was talking about down at Bathurst, that has a spell check in it. It's a button with ABC above a green tick and Check next to it.
Once youv'e written what you want click on the button to spell check and click on it again to stop the check.

You may have to slide the bar around a bit, there should be a light line with little arrows each side, just click on that and slide the bars across
