Seeing that the 1983 XE Falcon has just been released, what will be the next one in the DJR collection ???
There's so many to cars choose from, I wonder wheather it will be a complete new car (Mustang, EB Falcon, EF/L Falcon, Thunderbird) or a modifiaction to an existing vehicle (88 Sierra, Red Roo Falcon '82, '80 XD 'rock' Falcon, old Torrana XU1) ???
At the end of the day I can't really wait another 6 months for the next one.
3 months would be the best intervile between releases in my perfect world, but I don't build the models !!! :D
Perhaps Biante / other users could shed some light on this topic.
cheers.
Hmm, to throw my 2 cents in, I'd guess on either the XE Red Roo car, or the 'Rock' XD. Chances are it may be the Red Roo XE, as there was a thread discussing it regarding the early and later bodykits or rear wings..
I've tied myself in a knot waiting for the EB personally, but will be happy with whatever we get...

The only people who know is the team at Biante.
"LJ" for something different.
"XB" for the start of Dick's Career with Ford. Which is incorrect cause he drove a Capri when he was teamed with Moore. But it's Dicks own car.
"XD" for obvious reasons, so people can by the 1:18th scale of the rock aswell.
"XE Red Roo" to finish off the "XE Trio".
"Mustangs" to finish off the Paint Supply they got leftover.
"ATCC Sierra" to follow in the foot steps of the '83 XE as a simmular model.
"AU" to inspire Dick to make a Come-back to Bathurst????
Either way I'll be excited to Purchase any Model that Biante release in the Dick Johnson Collection.
P.S. An "EL" would be an absolute Suprise for all.

I was lucky enough to go to DJR Headquarters in January, a picked up a listing of upcomming models. One on the list I though was quite funny was the 1:1 Scale version of the ROCK that Dick hit during the 1980 Bathurst race.

Hopefully they don't make it weigh as much as the real one that wrecked Dick's Falcon (possibly his 1st Bathurst win too).
Could you imagine the postage we'd pay on it !!!:D
Say $50 for the rock & $500 for the freight !!!
Still wondering what the next DJR model will be,
Cheers.:D

When i first saw the rock at DJRs for the first time I was surprised how small it was, of course and obviously it was big enough to do damage to a speeding car.
I don't know how popular a replica rock will be, maybe it will look ok with a plaque or something.
BTW, Shell Helix Racing will be revealing their new driver line-up, cars, livery and uniforms at a private sponsors function to be held at Dick Johnson Racing Headquarters, this Tuesday the 18th of February.
Be watching ‘Sports Tonight’ on the 18th of February for the first pictures, and look out for feature stories in ‘Auto Action’ and ‘Wheels’ this month.
Check out the latest Motorsport news for a sneak peek of the Tony Richedello Konica series livery. Its a great looking car.

If you've got the mag, how about putting the pic on the forum, or considering Biante is a sponsor how about Admin put something up for us to look at regarding this.

Did Motorsport news show all of the car or just like this pic.
From this little sneak preview I think the new 03 cars should look fantastic if they are simular to this.
Can't wait until Feb 18 when DJR show off the new car.
cheers.
