Howdy Y'all!
We've had a Mad Max Falcon from Biante, in it's gutted out Mad Max 2 guise. A very nice model it has to be said. Is there anyone else out there who'd like to see it released in it's original, pristine Mad Max 1 incarnation? It's the version I would have preferred, so what do you say Biante? Any chance??

This model was produced by Autoart not Biante. We imported and sold them but had no involvement in the manufacturing or product selection.
I just received notification of a new Mad Max item from Autoart which I'm sure will be popular and no it's not the car from Mad Max 1. Info will be posted on the website shortly.

You might want to get one of these (http://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/sci-fi-as-in-science-fiction-item-list-k-o-c-9_187/mad-max-1-conversion-kit-for-1-18-auto-art-p-13457) MM2 to MM1 Interceptor conversion kits Reznik.
Richard, would you be talking about the 1:43 Mad Max twin set (http://www.autoartmodels.com/web/product/en/1655? antiCache=1258343491061AA6440D4431BC459846C198EED6 4F01E)? 1x MM2 Interceptor and 1x Landau "enemy" car?

Spoilt sport! :p:D;)
I've requested some high res images for this set. I'll post them as soon as they come through.
There is at least another 6 cars from MM1 & MM2 I would by in 1:18. Guess this is a step in the right direction though.

Put me down for a set now.
There are so many cars from Mad Max that would sell I reckon.
Maybe not 6000 of each but they could do a run of 2000 that I think would sell.
The Japanese go crazy over Mad Max and I am sure they would be on a winner.

Is there a model of the car from the start of Mad Max, the one the night rider (or something like that, name) drove or crashed into the truck?

I have only seen a very expensive pretty crappy resin 1/24 kit. Not sure what they based the Monaro off but it is a very sad rendition.
They also do the two yellow/red/blue Falcons.

I'm hanging out for the next lot in 1:18's yet exciting times. The Landau was history within the first 6 minutes of the film, so plenty more that should come down the pipe in good time. Probably put a wish list together over the xmas break.
From what I've heard the 1:18 MM2 car sold very well in OZ alone. It is an un numbered international release & would expect that Warner Bros & whose ever elses palms need greasing would still be keen to make a few more bucks from these old flicks however possible.
The making of MM4 would again add further interest.

The ute was built by John Ziegler back in the mid 80's and at the time was one of Australia's top show utes with customised Caprice front end and Mercedes lights. It was featured in Street Machine Magazine in July 86.

The XA March Hare Interceptor (Sarse & Scuttle) was actually a 6 cyl Ex cab with no special effects required for smoke pooring from the tail pipe. Make this one last please.

Make it last??? Yeah if they dont make that I wont be dissapointed.
With the new release of Fury Road coming I thought Autoart would be jumping onto some of these to get them released.
I guess we can only hope.

Could always code 3 the XA/XB 4 door sedans, and the other coupes.
There is enough talent here to acheive something.

Got inspired to think about some others, as I picked up the MM2 Intereceptor/Enemy Car last week = an awesome set!
Bro took these pix at the recent screen play with the original actors etc doing a Q&A before & after the movie. Sorry I missed it as sounded like a great night with some top stories
