hey just wondering if any one can help me? i have just purchased 1;18 dick johnson 1989 sierra and the driver side door has broken off at the hinge joint. just looking for someone or someway to fix this?? please help

Depends on whether you want it to open again

Remember the Diecast material is porous as it does make a differenence as to how you approach the repair.

I found a replacement Hinge for one of these a few years ago. Check ebay and ask question if you see one wrecking. Road Sierras have got different Hinges so use a race car one. Very hard to find it may take years.

try blue tac as a interim fix.
just put it around the door frame and push the door into it.

id just buy a Bond/Jones Sierra just so i could fix it

it is an 89 Bathurst winner your talking about isnt it?

if it is, well worth the $80-$120 for the donor car i reckon

I would try sticking it with loctite 406 i think it is (not sure of the number its out in the garage fridge) its a high quality super glue and sticks metal fine bonds in seconds ..
