Lowndes is driving the CAT Falcon

Found this on V8x.com.au this morning.

Cat Racing has officially announced its decision to stay with Ford for the 2003 Season. The new CAT-badged BA-model V8 Race Car will be fielded by the Ford Performance Race Team with Craig Lowndes behind the wheel.

Well I hope they do come up with a great livery.

The Green Eyed monster in my opinion is still one of the best.

I was hoping that they would just make the Lowndes livery the same as 2002 but in Blue. :(

It's a good looking car & it will be interesting to see how they adapt this is fit the (borring silver& blue) colours of Ford Credit for Glenn's Falcon.

It appears that someone might have pulled it from the web. As the image was an intercepted email I expect someone from Ford may have put their foot down.

I heard the offical release will be at the Melbourne motor show.

For those who didn't see the pics it was mainly Black with the typical CAT bonnet with the FPV logo in silver with the head for the bird comming from infront of the rear wheels & along the side of the car.

Just the one (Championship win that is) if PRODRIVE'S first season in WRC is anything to go by. Jeff Grech of HRT has also been quoted as saying he believes that they are understating their own potential going into the season.... We can only hope that Lowndesy will be back on the top step of that podium again, with Skaife to his left throughout this year, just like it was in the day........ ;)

That is certainly a great looking car!!! Lowndes' has had some impressive liveries and this one tops it yet again!

Is Lowndes still running the #600 on this car or will he run #00?

All 3 FPR Falcons will be done by CC's in 1:18, 1:43 & 1:64 which are supposedly now with improved detail. That is the rumour going around anyway.

It must be inbarassing for cc to have their product anywhere near the Biante minicars.

While watching the Phillip Island race on the weekend, I noticed that the FPR No.6 CAT Falcon of Craig Lowndes sporting a small white CC's logo on the side skirts below the two front doors.

Perhaps they have exclusive manufacturing rights, but with any luck our friends at Biante will look after us all.

I watched a tape of the race last night (as I was at the track on Sunday) & I noticed that Craig has removed the Biante logo's from his race helmet.

So does this mean the Biante - Lowndes relationships is all but over ???

I'm sure admin can shed some light on this subject.

I hear that on another forum that cc have exclusive rights to FPV ???

Food for thought & I really hope I'm wrong.
